Abstract

This research explored the impact of job satisfaction (JS) and organizational culture (OC) on organizational readiness (OR) for digital transformation in Vietnam's general education system. To examine the validity and reliability of the scales, the research analyzed data from 2,303 participants using a comprehensive approach that incorporated structural equation modeling, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and Cronbach's alpha. JS had a greater effect on OR than OC, with the 65.4% of the variance in OR and 13.9% of the variance in JS. Three hypotheses were determined as follows: (1) OC has a positive impact on JS, (2) OC directly influences OR, and (3) JS positively affects OR. The results indicate that it is necessary to cultivate a culture of creativity and improve teacher satisfaction to support successful digital transformation in educational institutions. The study highlights the significance of leadership development, specialized training, and a culture of experimentation, while providing innovative insights into how organizational culture (OC) and job satisfaction (JS) can enhance the education sector's readiness for transformation. © 2026, World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society.
