-The objective of this research is to examine the factors influencing the adoption of mobile payment applications. A quantitative research approach was utilized. Data were collected from consumers of mobile payment applications in Rayong Province, Thailand. Data were gathered using a questionnaire and analyzed through multivariate statistical techniques to construct a Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results indicate that the factors affecting the acceptance of mobile payment applications correspond with experiential data with statistical values of p-value = 0.06, GFI = 0.96, CMIN/DF = 1.18, and RMSEA = 0.01, all meeting the significance threshold at 0.001. In assessing the variables within the developed model and their comprehensive influence, this study found that Convenience has the strongest direct effect on Cost (regression coefficient = 0.79), followed by a direct effect of Convenience on Security (0.65). Additionally, Security directly influences Trust (0.54), Cost directly influences Trust (0.35), and Cost also has a direct effect on Security (0.25). © 2026, World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society.
