Abstract

– This paper evaluates the effectiveness of digital solutions in enhancing the learning experience in higher education, with a focus on engagement, accessibility, and academic outcomes. A literature review identifies gaps in current digital platforms, particularly in supporting diverse learner needs. The study hypothesizes that the lack of personalization, assistive technologies, and inclusive design features negatively affects student engagement and satisfaction. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative surveys, qualitative focus groups, usability testing, and consultations with stakeholders. Results reveal key barriers such as complex interfaces, limited multilingual support, poor visual accessibility, and inadequate feedback mechanisms. These issues are especially challenging for students with disabilities and non-native speakers, leading to decreased motivation and performance. The findings highlight the need for inclusive, adaptive, and user-friendly digital learning environments. Recommendations include integrating personalized features, dynamic content, gamification elements, and simplified navigation. The study contributes practical insights for improving digital education tools and emphasizes the importance of designing accessible solutions to ensure equitable learning opportunities.
