The ongoing climate changes and challenges of food security make the orientation toward long-term development in all sectors of the economy, especially agriculture, more critical than ever. This paper presents a model that evaluates the role of various factors in promoting sustainable farm development. The adopted method maximizes the explained variance in key constructs, such as cooperation, government policies, sustainable development, and training. Primary data were collected through 202 questionnaires distributed in the targeted location to test the proposed model in this research. The findings of the study indicate that the contribution of government policies and cooperation among farmers to the sustainable development is substantial, whereas the role of vocational training remained insignificant. This approach to the training role may be a consequence of a possible gap in the design of policies and procedures for farmers’ capacity building. © 2026, World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society.
